So here's the deal:

A few random thoughts on this wonderful Monday morning. My wife and daughter are back from CA (praise the Lord). Evie can sit up on her own now (she turns 6 months old this week). Andrea taught some TMC girls over the weekend from Proverbs 4. Thank you for praying for her!

The COLTS are now 9-1. That means the BEARS and the COLTS have the same record. Who would of thunk it? It's a long season but thus far it's been a glorious one.

Ohio State and Michigan are the 2 best teams in the land (period). The SEC is the best conference in college football. USC VS Notre Dame should be a dandy. I think OSU and Michigan should play again for the National Championship (#1 vs #2).

The NFL is better in part because they determine the best team on the football field (in the playoffs); NOT some stupid computer with biased coaches and AP writers.

TWO cds that i think you should purchase: The newest live edition from WATERMARK. This is a wonderful worship cd that i can't get enough of.

Josh Groban's newest project (AWAKE). My wife and I love Josh Groban's voice. He is one of the best on the planet so check out his cds if you're into amazing singing and all.

Have a great Monday!

Brando-

Long time no chat. I noted in an earlier post people dont like commenting on spiritual things so much. They would rather shoot the breeze about sports and such. I am such a seeker friendly blogger that i have been capitulating. :)

Great post and humor. The Bills are the Bills. Jim Smelly and Thurman Thomas are long gone my friend; but DA BEARS are back in full effect. :)

How's seminary treating you? What is the favorite book you have read thus far?

Hey Caleb,
Thanks for never telling me about your blog before. After reading almost every topic and comment that has been posted it doesn't seem to bad :) Although I wouldn't mind if I had never read all the ridiculous comments from Colts fans. Tom Brady a whiner? Sounds like just another jealous Colts fan whose football knowledge is about as empty as Peyton's trophy case. Tom Brady has had an aging RB and OL and a bunch of #2 and #3 WR's to work with. Manning has had two Pro Bowl caliber WR's along with his Pro Bowl RB. Now don't get me wrong, I have not jumped on the NE bandwagon, but I have grown to appreciate what Brady does.

Anyway...the only comment's you will probable ever get from me are on sports topics so maybe you could cut down on the theology a little but for your little brother...heehee. The guys from my bible study are still asking for your next guest visit. We're still in Colossians and it's been really good lately. Also, what do you think of me transferring to Cedarville to play tennis next year? Talk to you soon and have a great thanksgiving.

B-Cap,

I did call you back and you were working. Life is like the game of "tag". I tagged you and now your it (meaning, CALL ME!) :)

I will not entertain any more BILLS talk since this is serious NFL chat here.

My little brother may be right about Manning and Brady but he did not inform any of you that he is a die hard TITANS fan. Vince Young to the rescue.

Jordan, Cedarville would be a great option if you could get a tennis scholarship. It is an expensive school but maybe they offer good money?

Mark-
I agree about the perfect season deal. I think the power rankings should be as follows:
Bears
Colts
San Diego

Mark's response:

"It doesn’t bother me…most people who punk the Colts are just jealous. Tell me how many SB’s the Bears have won in the past 20 years. The exact same number the Colts have won.

Now concerning Brady…my comments about him whining were directed at some comments he made after a loss earlier this year. He was indeed whining about the refs in particular…by nature Brady is not a whiner, but it was an opportunity to slam him. What I do hate is the media, which is by and large east coast, liberal and fairly biased. After the Colts handed the Pats a loss a few weeks ago I laughed at all the explanations as to why:

Joe Theisman: “If Brady doesn’t throw four interceptions and Dillon doesn’t fumble, that is a different game” Do they pay him to say that kind of stuff? John Madden said essentially the same thing. In other words, it wasn’t the Colt’s defense that disrupted their offence or the Colt’s offense that out dueled their offence; it wasn’t the Colts that won but rather the Pats that lost it for the Colts.

Peyton will win the big one someday…but then everyone will say, “well, he only won it once and Brady won it three time”. So I won’t ever be able to win this argument.

A Titan’s fan…ha/ha. Jeff Fisher is one of my fav coaches…they’ll be competing for the division next year or the year after. But until then, they are our practice squad."

The INDY Colts have never won a championship.

If we are going to talk history then the Bears have 1 SuperBowl win and 6 or 7 NFL Championships.
