Super Bowl on everyone's mind

Well it looks like everyone is getting excited over these blogs on the Super Bowl. I guess most of my posts on theology and doctrine don't prompt much by way of responses. I have a few serious things i want to post but i will probably wait until AFTER all this fun is completed.

The Bear's can beat the Colts (make no mistake about it). IF they had Brown and Harris they could do so even with an average game by Rex BUT they don't, so Rex Grossman will need to show up. Most of America was calling for Brian Griese months ago so many of you don't have a foot to stand on.

Let's get down to business: 1. Rex needs to make smart decisions (which he has done thus far in the playoffs); that means no stupid turnovers. 2. Rex needs to read the D better (blitz packages). He has not done a great job of this thus far. 3. Rex must keep drives alive (limit the 3 and outs); this means Rex has to have a higher completion percentage. 4. If given a golden opportunity Rex and Mark Bradley or B Berrian must connect on the deep ball. 5. Did i mention no turnovers?

6. If Hester gives da Bears good field position on a consistent basis (via special teams) OR if the Bear's D can create 3 or 4 turnovers (like last weekend) the Bears will be in GREAT shape.

Side note, it will be wonderful if the Bear's can get some pressure on Mr. Manning. It would bring me alot of hapiness to see #18 get smashed by anyone on the Bear's team esp. Brian Urlacher. This dream is over and i am out.

Happy New Year to all (Go Bears!)

Caleb...this is joe taco. i want to see no. 8 get smashed by frenney, booger, brock, and "the silent assasin" mathis. nuff said. colts will win 24-21 off of a vinatieri field goal. GO COLTS!

fyi. we beat the patriots, you lost to them...big. you lost to the dolphins, we won...see a pattern going? 2 of your 3 losses came from teams in which we beat.
you are very bandwagon mr. k. you love tom brady, and rex grossman. but if brady didnt have 3 rings, would you be calling him the magician? go to wthr.com and listen to the colts new song. its called blue sunday. its to the colts what the super bowl shuffle is to the bears. SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 4TH IS BEAR HUNTIN SEASON! TURN THOSE BEARS INTO CUBS!!! GO COLTS!

...so mr. bandwagon, lets say peyton wins 3 super bowls before he retires...will you call him the magician? no. you will call him a choker, cause you wont admit that if peyton wins more than one SB, he will be the greatest qb to ever play the game. rex is a choker. over 10 games with a passer rating under 40. thats terrible. i think joey harrington did better. your d is what carried you through the season and the playoffs. he is not the worst SB gq of all time, trent dilfer is, but he is up there in the top 5. we beat the no. 1 d in baltimore, no. 2 in new england...no. 3 isnt a challenge. deal with it, IF the colts win, you will be hearing from me for a year...GO COLTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JOE,

You need ease off the Mountain Dews brother. :) IF Peyton wins 3 Super Bowls and 2 Super Bowl MVPS i will give him his due. You have my word on it.

If Peyton plays poorly in the Super Bowl i wont put him on my top 10 list of All time great QBs. My respect is mostly earned during the playoffs when it matters most.

The Bears only Super Bowl win came against New England. I do have TONS of respect for Tom cool but I am not a fan of NE. I am just thankful they kept Peyton out of the big game for so many years!!!
